Bridget Nicholls

Bridget is a Ph.D. candidate in in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Criminology. Under the supervision of Dr. Amy Fitzgerald, her doctoral work examines the effectiveness of specialized animal abuse prosecutorial units. She holds a BA in labour studies and an MA in social justice and equity studies from Brock University, where she researched the labour law connection of animal cruelty officers and also served as a humane jobs fellow.
