The only program of its kind in Ontario - Three Pathways, One Program
The Odette Master of Business Administration - Professional Accounting Specialization (MBA-PAS), is a unique program that prepares its graduates to succeed as accountants and business professionals in a multitude of careers. The program allows those with an undergraduate degree and the requisite accounting courses for entry into our MBA and fulfill CPAO's Professional Program.
CPA Ontario is working with post-secondary institutions across the province to launch a new CPA Professional Program in 2027—a modern path to becoming a CPA. Learn more about the new CPA Professional Program.
New! A Unique, Fast-Track MBA Program for CPAs
Applicants with a CPA designation and at least two years of work experience may qualify to enter the MBA-PAS program with advanced standing. These students will not be required to complete the program’s accounting courses. This allows the student to complete the program and obtain their MBA in only twelve months (three semesters, two courses per semester).
The program is flexible, experiential, and cultivates a learning environment where synergies from diverse backgrounds contribute to the education of a well-rounded Chartered Professional Accountant. Courses are designed to develop technical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as critical thinking and professional decision-making ability, all of which are required to excel in complex work environments.
