What is the GMAT?
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is designed to assess your quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, verbal ability, and critical thinking skills, all of which are essential for success in a rigorous MBA program.
Can I request a GMAT waiver?
Yes. While we do offer the option to request a GMAT waiver, we recommend writing the GMAT. The GMAT not only strengthens your application but also provides both you and the admissions committee with an objective measure of your quantitative and qualitative abilities. Admissions will strongly consider a candidate's ability to successfully complete the program with this data.
Who should request a waiver?
If you believe that your academic background and/or professional experience already demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative skills equivalent to what the GMAT tests, you may submit a waiver request.
How do I request a waiver?
-
Include a formal letter as part of your application.
-
In your letter, outline your rationale for the waiver request, clearly demonstrating how your education and/or work experience provide evidence of the same competencies that the GMAT measures.
-
Provide specific examples (e.g., advanced coursework, data analysis, project management, financial modeling, leadership roles, etc.) that highlight your abilities.
The admissions committee will review your request and notify you if the waiver is approved.
One letter of reference. The letter of reference can be either academic or professional.
When completing the online application you will be required to enter the full name and contact information of your reference. Based on the information that you have provided in the online application your reference will be contacted via email to complete a confidential assessment.
Note: Your reference is contacted as soon as we receive your graduate application.
