Marianne Poumay

Marianne Poumay is a professor in the Département d'éducation et formation (Department of Education and Training)as well as the director of LabSET, a European centre aimed at assisting teachers, learners, and institutions acquiring distance learning technologies, at the Université de Liège in Belgium.
Together with Dieudonné Leclercq, Professor Poumay co-directs the Diploma in University Teaching known as 'Formasup,' a project aimed at professionalizing higher education teachers on a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning model. She acts as a consultant for various bodies such as the European Commission, and regularly sits on international selection and expertise committees. Professor Poumay is a member of various academic committees overseeing conferences or journals specializing in university teaching. She joined the University of Windsor as a Visiting Scholar in the Centre for Teaching and Learning in June 2008.
