Jean Gabin Ntebutse

Dr. Jean Gabin Ntebutse holds a Ph.D. in education from the university of Sherbrooke in Canada. The subject of his doctoral thesis was about the dynamics of change in university teachers in the context of pedagogical innovations aimed at student professionalization. He has also completed postdoctoral studies on Ethics in higher education at the University of Quebec in Montreal. He is currently an Associate Professor in the faculty of education at the University of Sherbrooke and has been responsible for master's programs in secondary education.
Dr Ntebutse teaches Learning and Development at the undergraduate level and Learning Strategies at the graduate level. His research interests include, learning and development, change and paradigm shifts in education, digital competence, and school resilience. He is also a regular researcher at the Centre d’études et de recherches sur les transitions et l’apprentissage (CERTA) and at the Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur l’intervention et la réussite scolaire (CRIRES). He is a member of AIPU (Association internationale de pédagogie universitaire), ARIC (Association internationale pour la recherche interculturelle) and RESILIO (Association internationale pour la promotion et la diffusion de la recherche sur la résilience).
