The Skills to Enhance Personal Success (STEPS) program offers a wide variety of free workshops aimed at providing students with practical methods for improving their learning and study skills.
As a faculty member, you can book STEPS sessions for your students. STEPS offers a number of in-person programming options ranging from five-minute talks to full-hour workshops. From classroom visits to “boot camp” workshops, sessions can be catered to your students’ unique needs.
STEPS also offers the Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI) and VARK (Visual, Auditory, Read/write, and Kinesthetic learning) Questionnaire to students. Following an assessment, the STEPS coordinator will discuss the student’s results and help them develop ways to enhance their study habits. To book an appointment, direct your students to email email@example.com.
