The Indigenous Student Success Centre (ISSC) at the University of Windsor is a welcoming, culturally grounded space that supports Indigenous student success across all aspects of university life.
We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where students can study, rest, connect with community, and feel a strong sense of belonging on campus.
A Home on Campus
The ISSC is designed to support both academic and personal wellbeing.
Within our space, students have access to:
- Comfortable lounge areas for relaxation and connection
- Quiet study spaces and computer access for academic success
- A welcoming environment for gathering and community building
- Food available in the space to support shared meals and wellbeing
The ISSC is a place where students can feel at home while on campus.

What We Offer
Rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing, the ISSC provides holistic and culturally grounded supports, including:
- Cultural programming, workshops, and community gatherings
- Academic guidance, referrals, and student support services
- Spaces for ceremony, identity, and cultural connection
- Wellness supports that honour mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing
