The Indigenous Student Alliance (ISA) is a student-led organization that brings together First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students, as well as Allies at the University of Windsor. The Alliance creates opportunities to build community, celebrate Indigenous cultures, support one another, and strengthen Indigenous student voices across campus.
Working alongside the Turtle Island Indigenous Student Services Centre, the ISA provides a welcoming environment where students can develop friendships, share experiences, celebrate culture, and advocate for issues that matter to Indigenous students.

Our Purpose
The Indigenous Student Alliance strives to:
- Foster a strong sense of belonging among Indigenous students.
- Celebrate First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures, traditions, and identities.
- Create opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and personal growth.
- Promote cultural awareness and education across campus.
- Advocate for the needs and priorities of Indigenous students.
- Build meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities and campus partners.
What We Do
Throughout the academic year, the Indigenous Student Alliance hosts a variety of events and activities, including:
- Social gatherings and community dinners
- Cultural workshops and teachings
- Beading, crafting, and language activities
- Wellness and sharing circles
- Student networking opportunities
- Indigenous awareness events
- Volunteer opportunities
- Leadership initiatives
- Collaborative events with the Turtle Island Indigenous Student Services Centre

Visit the Turtle Island Indigenous Student Services Centre in CAW Student Centre, Room 179, or attend one of our upcoming events to get involved. The Centre supports Indigenous students through academic, cultural, social, and personal programming in a culturally supportive environment.
