The Walking in Balance- Wellness Bundles Program

This a monthly initiative designed to support Indigenous student wellness, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Every month, students receive a themed wellness bundle paired with teachings, reflection activities, and campus/community supports that encourage balance while strengthening cultural identity and belonging.

Soup and Bannock - Pathways to Success Program

Thia is a bi-weekly program that creates a welcoming, low-barrier space for Indigenous students to gather over food, build relationships, and connect with university services in a relational and culturally safe environment. The program would help strengthen student transition, belonging, wellness, retention, and success by introducing services in a less formal and more approachable way.

Tea & Talk - Drop-In Program

This is a bi-weekly casual, discussion-based drop-in program designed to create a welcoming space where Indigenous students can gather, connect, and openly discuss topics related to student life, wellness, identity, and navigating university.

The program emphasizes relationship-building, peer support, storytelling, and meaningful dialogue in a relaxed environment over tea and light refreshments. While culturally safe and Indigenous-centered, the focus is on conversation and student voice rather than formal teachings.

Culture is Medicine

Thia is a monthly cultural workshop series designed to strengthen Indigenous student identity, belonging, wellness, pride, and community connection through participation in Indigenous teachings, arts, ceremony, and land-based knowledge. The series recognizes culture as a source of healing, resilience, and empowerment while creating opportunities for students to build relationships with Knowledge Keepers, Elders, artists, and one another.

Each month features a different cultural focus, allowing students to engage in a variety of teachings and hands-on experiences reflective of diverse Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
