The Leadership Hub is organizing the 2020 AIM Leadership Symposium as an online event.
Students across campus take up roles on university and departmental committees such as the Renewal, Promotion, and Tenure Committee, departmental councils, student societies, etc. The goal of this symposium is to give students the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them to excel in these leadership positions. We AIM to help students develop the leadership skills that will have a direct, positive impact on their employability.
Students attending this symposium will receive training in:
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Rules of order
- Conflict resolution
- Emotional Intelligence
- Building self-efficacy
This is an opportunity of a lifetime to develop key soft skills such as confidence, communication, resilience and leadership. We are excited to see you there!
This opportunity is free. Students can register for it on the AIM webpage.
