Windsor Women Working With Immigrant Women, the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians, and the South Asian Clinic of Ontario are holding a forum on changes in immigration law in Windsor on December 11th. CASSA, SALCO and W5 are collaborating to host this forum to engage community leaders, faith leaders, intermediaries and social service workers of the changes to immigration, refugee, citizenship and sponsorship law. This forum aims to deliver legal accessible tools to help participants in the long term and will speak on the impact these changes have had on Windsor immigrant families.
There are many changes that have taken place in the areas of immigration, sponsorship, refugee and citizenship law. Persons working in the social service sector and community leaders should be aware of these changes to help persons navigating the system. This forum aims to deliver accessible legal tools to help you in the long term and will speak on the impact these changes have had on Windsor immigrant families.
Windsor Law's Social Justice Career Coordinator, Fathima Cader, will be speaking at the event.
