Welcome to Student Accessibility Note-taking Support.
This information is here to help you understand how the note-taking process works and what to expect. The information provided will help you become familiar with the SAS note-taking system through AIM, whether you are receiving notes, volunteering as a note-taker, or simply learning more about the service.

Will I be guaranteed a Note-taker?
While SAS works hard to recruit volunteer note-takers for every eligible course, we cannot guarantee that a volunteer will be available. We encourage you to continue to talk to your Advisor or explore other resources.
These may include:
- Asking a peer if you can share notes to fill in the gaps
- Asking your advisor if you qualify for the ability to record the lecture
- Asking your advisor about getting the notes ahead of time
- Making an appointment with the Learning Strategist
Volunteer Information
At the end of the term, you as a volunteer note-taker may request a Certificate of Accomplishment to recognize what you have done. Eligible students in select faculties may also be able to count their note-taker responsibilities toward one of the four pillars of the "Lead Medallion Scholar's Program".
