As of January 2023, the University of Windsor created the Campus Sustainability Steering Committee along with three (3) Working Groups to collaborate, champion and address campus sustainability programs and initiatives.

Sustainability Impact Award 

As of Fall 2022, the University introduced the 'Impact Award- Sustainability' as part of the annual Employee Recognition Awards.
