Peace in the Streets is an annual conference which embodies Rotary International’s explicit mission to construct more peace in the world. It began following the successful Rotary Ann Arbor Global Peace conference in 2017, and at the behest of Detroit, Toledo, and Ann Arbor area youths concerned with issues “peace in the hood”, “peace in the home”, and “peace in the schools.” Its mission and vision now is to discuss ideas and solutions for creating a more just and loving world without violence.
