About Windsor Law

For over 40 years, Windsor Law has provided an innovative legal education in a supportive community environment. Our dedicated faculty and hardworking students have helped us build a solid reputation as one of North America's top institutions for the study of access to justice and transnational law.

Our strong and caring leadership, exemplified by Dean Camille Cameron, inspires our students to look well beyond the “letter of the law”. Windsor Law students are expected to meet high standards of ethical conduct while fervently seeking to balance the scales of justice for the poor and marginalized.

Students choose Windsor Law because they want to integrate theory and practice. We have designed many courses around meaningful experiential learning opportunities and all students can work for credit at our two poverty law clinics and University of Windsor Mediation Services, Canada's first university-based mediation program.

Our location in downtown Windsor, Ontario — literally minutes from the United States border — makes us the ideal location to study comparative Canada-US law or earn joint Canadian & American Dual J.D. degrees that will allow you to practise law in both countries.
