Prospective Law Students

Welcome to Windsor Law, a challenging, well-rounded legal education focused on both professional and personal development. We expect our students to not only master the intracacies of the law, but to use their knowledge to actively advocate for social and legal justice in Canada and around the world.

Our flagship Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree program is built upon close faculty interaction and experiential learning opportunities. You will put your newly acquired skills to work at our two poverty law clinics and our unique mediation program, the first at a Canadian law school.

Our Canadian & American Dual J.D. Program degree program with the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law is the only one of its kind in North America. In just three years, you will earn law degrees from both a Canadian and U.S. institution, uniquely preparing you for cross-border legal practice.

Our newest joint program, the M.S.W./J.D., recognizes the increasing synergy between the work performed by social workers and the role being played by justice-minded lawyers.

In association with the Faculty of Business Administration, we offer an integrated M.B.A./J.D. degree that can be earned in four years instead of five. You will graduate with a unique set of skills that will open doors to a career in law and/or business.
