Conference: Animals and Us

AIPARG held its inaugural conference 
Animals and Us: Research, Policy, and Practice 
from October 11–13, 2018 at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.

Conference Speaker

The conference consisted of a one-day pre-conference institute specifically focused on the intersection of violence against animals and women in the context of abusive relationships, and two additional days showcasing recent advances in research, policy, and practice relating to human-animal connections. The goal of the conference was to facilitate conversations among practitioners and advocacy organizations and interdisciplinary researchers and academics.
