Congratulations to yet another alumna doing great things!

Renée Trombley (B.A. in Communication Studies, University of Windsor), is the new Executive Director of Public Affairs & Communications at The University of Windsor, effective Feb. 22

An acknowledged team builder and colleague-of-choice, she brings with her significant public sector leadership experience and very strong interpersonal skills. Her experience in communications, marketing and public relations is robust and will fulfill our wide and ever-evolving needs. She is a poised, highly-capable and quality-focused professional. Her ability to increase visibility and build a compelling, bold narrative are most exciting.

Commemorating 75 years since the end of World War II, the feature documentary Fight to the Finish honours Canadians who fought by sharing the stories of over 50 survivors.

 

The film was story edited by Dr. Kim Nelson and co-produced and edited by Prof. Nick Hector and will air nationally tomorrow evening on History Television at 9pm.

WIFF, SoCA and the DOC Institute are working together to present a series of free documentary producing workshops.

They may be of interest to upper year UGs.

 

INTRO TO DOC PRODUCING will be facilitated by Chanda Chevannes, an award-winning advocacy filmmaker, and will consist of online workshops and meetups intended for early-career & emerging documentary filmmakers who want to get their film projects funded, made, and seen.
