System Status & Notifications

Blackboard Issues
Some performance issues have been identified within Blackboard. In order to rectify this, a system restart has been scheduled for 11:45am today, June 10th. Blackboard will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes from 11:45am to 12:15pm.
Uwinsite Student System Maintenance
The Uwinsite Student system will be unavailable for about 15 minutes at 7AM June 10th for system maintenance.
Resolved: Unable to view email content in Outlook
Microsoft is reporting some users are unable to view the content of emails in the Outlook client. Outlook on the web and Outlook mobile do not appear to be affected at this time. 
 
For access to messages during this issue, Outlook on the web can be reached at https://outlook.office.com
 
Update May 11 10:00pm:
Microsoft has identified the cause of the problem and are deploying a fix. This fix should take 4-5 hours to reach all users.
 
Affected users will need to restart Outlook to apply the fix. In some cases users will need to restart Outlook a second time for the changes to take effect.
 
Update May 12 9:00am:
This issue is now resolved. Users should restart their Outlook client to apply the fix.
 
Issue Transferring Final Grades From Blackboard To UWS
IT Services is aware of a current issue with transfering final grades from Blackboard to UWinsite Student. We are working to resolve the issue.
UWinCARD System Upgrade
The UWinCARD system is being upgraded. This will cause a scheduled outage for the system from 8:00am - 12:00pm on April 28th. 
Complete: Network maintenance Thu Apr 28 6am-8am
IT Services will be performing network maintenance Wednesday April 28 from 6:00-8:00am. During this time, the mobile VPN service will be interrupted several times, including one 15 minute period of unavailability. Other areas will experience brief interruptions to service lasting less than a minute.
