System Status & Notifications

Monsido Maintenance, Sunday, Dec. 3, 4 a.m. to Noon
Monsido will perform scheduled database maintenance on Sunday, December 3 from 4 a.m. to noon. During this time, web content editors may be unable to log into the Monsido application or experience intermittent outages. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Completed - UWinsite Student maintenance tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to noon

COMPLETED - UWinsite Student will undergo maintenance tomorrow, Saturday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to noon and remain online during maintenance. Forms found within UWinsite Student may be offline in and around the maintenance time. We apologize for the inconvenience.  

Users signed into UWinsite Student may be logged out unexpectedly and will be required to sign in again. It may also require the user to clear their web browser's cache to access the system after maintenance. Find a knowledge base article about clearing a cache.   

If you experience an issue with UWinsite Student after the maintenance time, please open a ticket and it will be routed to the correct area for help. 

Completed - UwinCARD software maintenance Wednesday, Oct. 11 & Thursday, Oct. 12

COMPLETED - During UWinCARD software maintenance, on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and Thursday, Oct. 12, students with meal plans (basic & flex) can use their UwinCARDs at on-campus food outlets. UwinCARDs cannot be used at off-campus restaurants, campus photocopiers/printers, and at the Campus Bookstore during maintenance. 

UwinCASH and employee payroll charges will be unavailable during the maintenance.

Completed - HR / Payroll system (VIP) upgrade, Oct 6 - 9

The HR / Payroll system (VIP) will be unavailable from Friday, Oct. 6, at noon, until Monday, Oct . 9, due to an application upgrade. The upgrade will impact other applications that receive data feeds and are noted below 

At the same time, myUWinfo received a new portal theme. 

The following applications are available: 

  • VIP – All modules (Health & Safety, Human Resources, Payroll, Pensions, Position Control, VPA, and Equity) 
  • MyUWINFO employee portal 
  • My Attendance  
  • Required Training Site 
  • Flexible Work Arrangement Request Application 
  • VIP Interfaces - data integrations for UWinsite Finance, EDS (campus directory). 

The following applications will be restarting and available on Tuesday, Oct 10. 

  • Tuition Wavier  
  • OT call-in system for Facility Services and Campus Police 
  • Equity Census 

Brightspace, UWinsite Student, eCV, and eGAS remain online and the integrations will be restored on Tuesday, Oct 10. 

If you should encounter an issue with any of the applications, please reach the IT Service Desk by:

  • Opening a ticket for VIP, Pension, Employment Equity, Accessibility, Position Control, Overtime call-in, Casual Time Entry 
  • Opening a ticket for myUWinfo

UWinsite Student Performance Issue

UWinsite Student is experiencing a performance issue. The IT Services team is working to address the matter as quickly as possible.  

If you experience the “Not Authorized” error when logging in, you may need to clear your cacheIf you encounter any other issue with UWinsite Student, please open a ticket.

Resolved - Campus internet provider experiencing intermittent performance issues
RESOLVED - The University's internet provider has been experiencing intermittent performance issues. While it seems to have minimal impact on the campus connection. Provider reported resolution at 10:43 a.m.
