Professor Jacobs’ Book springboard for 2015 OBA Administrative Law Institute

Professor Laverne Jacobs’ book, The Nature of Inquisitorial Processes in Administrative Regimes:  Global Perspectives (Ashgate, October, 2013) (co-edited with Sasha Baglay) has been chosen to form the foundation of this year's Administrative Law Institute organized by the Ontario Bar Association. The OBA Institute is Canada’s largest legal conference, providing continuing professional development for Ontario lawyers.

Prof. Jacobs will give opening remarks on the nature of active adjudication in Canada on a panel entitled  Between Adversarial and Inquisitorial: Defining Active Adjudication.
