The Don & Gail Rodzik Law Library's Truth & Reconciliation Reading Circle will be hosting a reading of "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer*. Learn about Indigenous medicines and connections to nature in a small group setting. Meetings will take place on Mondays 9-11am (January 15, 29; February 12, 26; March 11).
Alongside the discussions, we will be beading Indigenous style wristlets with local artisan, Shane Lyons. The reading circle will culminate in an educational retreat on Walpole Island (March 1-2).
Space is limited to 12 law students. Registration is required. Attendance is mandatory in order to be eligible for the retreat.
