Application Deadlines

The following application deadlines are for September admission to Windsor Law: 

• November 1 for first-year students 
• May 1 for transfer and visiting students 

The Ontario Law School Application will be available in late August. We encourage you to submit your application and other materials as early as possible. 

The application deadline for September admission to the joint Canadian & American Dual JD program is April 15. 

Undergraduate Requirement 

To qualify for admission, you must successfully complete your undergraduate degree no later than the beginning of August. We do not accept transfer students. 

Start Today 

Since we consider applications on a rolling basis, we encourage you to submit your application materials as early as possible. The OLSAS application will be available in early August. You can begin an LSDAS application whenever you are ready. 

The application deadline for September admission to the joint MBA/JD program is: 

• November 1 for JD 
• April 1 for MBA

The following application deadlines are for September admission to the four-year integrated MSW/JD program

• November 1 for Windsor Law 
• January 15 for the School of Social Work 

We encourage you to submit both applications by the November 1 deadline so that you can get a head start on academic and career planning. 

The Ontario Law School Application will be available in late August. The online application for the College of Graduate Studies and Research is already open for submissions. 

The Windsor Law LLM Program will accept applications on a rolling basis until January 5.  We suggest that you submit your completed application by November 10, as application review will commence at that time.

Students are encouraged to apply early. Late applications may be considered at the discretion of the Faculty of Law. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.

OLSAS

You may request a fee waiver for the Windsor Law portion of the OLSAS application fee. To be eligible for consideration, you must complete our OLSAS Fee Waiver Application and submit the required supporting documentation, showing an inability to pay for the service. The deadline for submission of the fee waiver application and documentation is October 25 and should be submitted to lawassociatedean@uwindsor.ca.

OLSAS fee waivers are not retroactive and must be obtained prior to submission of your OLSAS application. Please note that fee waivers are only applicable to the current admissions cycle.
 

LSAC Fee Waiver
To request a fee waiver for LSAC, please visit the LSAC website for more information. You will be required to apply for the fee waiver through your LSAC.org account. All supporting documentation for Canadian fee waiver applicants must be uploaded directly through your LSAC online account. All supporting documentation must be uploaded no later than 45 days after submitting your online application.
