Authors who are interested in having their conference papers considered for publication in the Canadian Business Law Journal are kindly asked to submit their final papers for peer review by October 15, 2025.  This deadline will allow sufficient time for the peer review process and for placement in the publication queue.

Please also ensure that your submission complies with the attached CBLJ style guidelines. Adhering to the formatting and citation requirements will help streamline the review and editorial process.

Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to your submissions.

The Windsor Law Conference organizers are grateful for the invaluable support of Professor Thomas Telfer, University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law in advancing this publication opportunity.

This conference is generously sponsored by the Don Rodzik family.

In September 2020, during a Transforming Windsor Law event, the Rodzik family announced a landmark $1 million gift to establish Windsor Law’s first-ever endowed research chair.

The Don Rodzik Family Chair in Law and Entrepreneurship was created to equip current and future Windsor Law students with the tools to pursue academic excellence and navigate the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship. The Chair also provides advocacy and legal support to local businesses, helping to strengthen the University’s ties to the Windsor-Essex community.

We are proud to recognize Dr. Shanthi Elizabeth Senthe as the inaugural Don Rodzik Family Chair in Law and Entrepreneurship—Windsor Law’s first endowed faculty position.

Dr. Senthe is an Associate Professor at Windsor Law and holds a PhD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where her research focused on banking and finance regulation and governance. She teaches courses including Business Associations, Secured Transactions, and Sports Law, and is a faculty member in the Dual JD Program. She has also taught Corporate Governance and Remedies.

Dr. Senthe is the Director and founder of the Transnational Entertainment and Arts Law Clinic (TEALC), which supports creative entrepreneurs and Black-owned independent film companies in the Detroit area. Most recently, she co-curated the exhibition The Once and Future City at the Art Windsor-Essex gallery (AWE), further demonstrating her commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and community engagement.
