I hold a permanent lectureship in the Department of Philosophy here at the University of Windsor. I have a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada), as well as an M.A. in philosophy and B.A. in psychology from the University of Windsor. My scholarly specialization is continental philosophy. I teach a diverse range of undergraduate courses in philosophy.
My publications and conference presentations address issues in existentialism, Heidegger (book), Nietzsche, philosophical practice, reasoning (book), and educational development. I oversee a scholarly book series in Existentialism, Hermeneutics, and Phenomenology.
I am also a former first-year studies coordinator and general education teacher, as well as a former test writer and academic managing editor.
