Take the virtual Have You Asked? Consent is Everything training!

Have You Asked? Consent is Everything is the University of Windsor's sexual consent campaign. This campaign is a part of Prevent Resist Support, the comprehensive strategy for addressing campus-based sexual violence, by The Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Resistance, and Support.

Go to Brightspace and log in with your UWin ID. On your homepage, find the Have You Asked? training. Incoming residence students have been auto-enrolled in this training module.

Steps for the Training

  1.  Go to Brightspace and log in with your UWin ID
  2. Find the Have You Asked? module on your homepage (incoming residence students are auto-enrolled)
  3. Complete the 7 video modules
  4. Pass the quiz after each video
  5. Finish by September 15th to avoid the $50 fee 

Frequently Asked Questions

The training is virtual and is available on Brightspace. Log in to your Brightspace account, and the training module should be visible from your homepage. Videos are prerecorded, so you can access the training anytime.
No, incoming students in Residence have been auto-enrolled into the Brightspace training.
There are 7 short video modules that range in length from 2 minutes to 12 minutes long, for a total of about 45 minutes of video content. After each video, there is a short quiz. The entire module should take about an hour to complete. Please note: You must pass each quiz for the training to be considered completed.

Residence Services at UWindsor is requiring that all incoming Residence students complete the training by September 15th 2026. Please note: You must pass each quiz for the training to be considered completed.

Student who do not complete the training by the end of the day on September 15th, 2026 will be charged a $50 non-refundable fee and the Office of Housing and Residence Life and the Office of Sexual Violence will keep a record that you did not complete the training
