Abstract:
We will discuss how the "Digital Cockpit" acts as a virtual spotter—using sensor fusion to visualize invisible obstacles, communicating the vehicle’s physical limits through intuitive graphics, and ensuring controls remain usable even when the cabin is shaking. Join us to discover how we design trust and spatial awareness for the journeys where the pavement ends.
Workshop Outline:
· The Shift from City Driving to Off-Roading
· Seeing Through the Hood with Cameras
· Showing Pitch, Roll, and Warning Zones
· Designing Controls for Shaky Cabins
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of design principles.
