The job market in software engineering has changed significantly over the last few years. Competition for roles is fierce and AI is leveling the playing field. In this modern landscape, how does a new graduate stand out? What kind of roles are still available, and how can students set themselves up for success after university? We will go over some entry-level roles that are still in high demand in the market, as well as who is best suited to the different positions.
