Students at the University of Windsor are automatically enrolled into a health care program known as Greenshield.
It is equivalent to the Ontario Health Insurance Program for Canadian citizens.
All residents of Canada are required to have medical coverage.
If your dependents do not have an equivalent plan from your home country then the student enrolled at the university is allowed to add their dependents to their plan.
If you need to do this, bring the following documents with you to the International Student Centre:
- Your passport and the passport(s) of your dependent(s)
- Student card
