Getting Involved

Getting involved with activities through International Student Centre is a great way to stay engaged with campus life while you're in Canada.

Learn about volunteer opportunities or join a student group.

On Blackboard you will be able to keep up with announcements, events and important information plus have access to additional resources and information.

Volunteer International Students Assistance (VISA)

This group of volunteers organize social events and help to make the International Student Orientation a great success every semester.

In the weekly VISA meetings, all international students have a chance to make new friends and take part in fun social activities.

International Student Society (ISS)

All international students are automatically members of this society. The ISS acts as a unifying force for all international students on campus and serves as a medium of communication between the members of the ISS and the governing bodies of the University, the UWSA or any other recognized society. The ISS consists of members elected during the school year for a period of one year, by international students.

Host for the Holidays

This is a unique opportunity for international students to enjoy a traditional holiday celebration with members of the university community.

You can follow ISC's activities through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
