Maureen Irish receives Canada-United States Law Institute Sidney Picker Jr. Award

Professor Emerita Maureen Irish received the Sidney Picker Jr. award from the Canada-United States Law Institute (CUSLI) on April 12, 2018 during the 42nd annual conference in Cleveland.  

The award is for leadership, efforts to foster Canada-United States relations and contributions to the work of CUSLI.  

Dr. Irish has taught many courses related to international trade and has served on dispute settlement panels under the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement and the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Her remarks will appear in an upcoming volume of the Canada-United States Law Journal.
