Join us for the Indigenous Scholars Lecture Series with guest speaker Dr. Val Napoleon, Interim Dean, Professor, and Law Foundation Chair of Indigenous Justice and Governance at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. This event is hosted by the Indigenous Legal Orders Institute at Windsor Law.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Val Napoleon is Interim Dean, Professor, and Law Foundation Chair of Indigenous Justice and Governance at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. She has taught and published on aboriginal legal issues, Indigenous law and legal theories, Indigenous feminisms, governance, critical restorative justice, oral traditions, and Indigenous legal research methodologies. She is from northeast British Columbia (Treaty 8) and a member of Saulteau First Nation.
