To kick off the 10 year anniversary of the Canadian Law Student Conference, the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues (WRLSI) was proud to present an evening with Madam Justice Côté where she spoke about her time at the Supreme Court of Canada, and gave advice on how to be an effective advocate. The event was attended by Windsor Law students and moderators of the Conference, as well as practitioners in the Windsor area.

Moot Team Invited to Oral Rounds of Oxford IP Moot

Windsor Law has been selected to participate in the oral rounds of the 15th Annual Oxford International Intellectual Property Law Moot Competition. Twenty-four teams over a total of 59 written submissions were invited to participate this year.

The student team members, Ruebe James (2L), Sanjeevan Shivakumar (3L), and Shannon Uhera (3L), and their coach, Professor Pascale Chapdelaine, will travel to the University of Oxford next month to participate in the world-renowned competition.

Windsor Law Wins the OTLA Cup – March 2016

The 2016 Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Cup was hosted by the University of Windsor on Saturday, March 5. The Honourable Justice Thomas Carey presided with OTLA members from around the province sitting as jurors. Teams from Osgoode Hall Law School, Queens’ University, Western University, the University of Ottawa and Windsor participated.
