Graduate updateBiography

Prakash graduated from the University of Windsor in 2018 with an Honours degree in Political Science: Law and Politics specialization.

Since graduating, Prakash has worked in the fields of international development, advertising, economic consulting, politics, and data and technology. He holds an MPA from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he attended as a Rotary Global Grant Scholar. He has served as the President of the Rotaract Club of London, a board member of United-Way Windsor Essex, and the Vice-Chair of Windsor's Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee. He coaches tennis out of Parkside tennis club.

Prakash's passion for conversation and problem-solving led him to the University of Windsor's Department of Political Science. After graduating, he began working as a Program Coordinator on a USAID-funded workforce-development project based out of Bangkok, Thailand. He then returned to Canada to coordinate on a Publicis Canada account. His desire to expand his knowledge of data-driven social science led him to the LSE where he conducted research for several organizations. He has applied these skills as a Senior Policy and Stakeholder Advisor to a Canadian politician. He now works closely with data and cloud-driven technologies.

Prakash is proud of his time at the University of Windsor and is always open to connecting with current students or alumni. Career opportunities are numerous with a degree in political science, but many positions are competitive, and an understanding of recruitment processes is essential. Prakash hopes to eventually return to the political sphere one day armed with an understanding of the latest tools and technologies that will power the governments of the future.
