Raven Mann attended UWindsor for a B.A (H) in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Raven began working with Uwindsor's Bringing in the Bystander Initiative where she learned more about gender-based violence policy issues.

Through the Political Science department, Raven participated in the study abroad program where she was able to secure an internship with the Belgian anti-human trafficking NGO, Payoke. Raven completed her M.A at UWindsor in Political Science where she focused on how the concept of morality influences social policies, specifically related to sex work and anti trafficking legislation in North America.

After graduating from the M.A program, Raven worked at Native Child and Family Services of Toronto in their anti-human trafficking department supporting indigenous survivors of sex trafficking. Currently, Raven is the project manager at Victim Services of Durham Region where she leads a research project focused on increasing community education on human trafficking.
