Program Description Supports mid-career researchers in accelerating, redefining, or pivoting their research programs to pursue new research directions and external funding opportunities.
What Projects are Eligible?

Projects that:

  • Shift research focus
  • Develop new collaborations or partnerships
  • Build new methodologies or datasets
  • Generate pilot data for new research directions

Example: transition from EV research to agricultural sustainability.

Who Can Apply? Full-time faculty members.

Applications accepted through the ERSO Research Portal

 

Data Management Plan (where applicable): Applicants proposing research that involves the collection, creation, or management of research data must submit a Data Management Plan (DMP) as part of their application. Applicants may use the University of Windsor Data Management Plan Template available through Leddy Library. Additional information and resources are available through Leddy Library's Research Data Management website.

All grant holders must submit a final report, detailing the impact the award had on their work, within one month of the award end date.  Grant holders who fail to submit a report will be ineligible for future internal grants until the final report is submitted.
