Research Partnership Development

Program Overview

Program Description Grants to support the development of new partnership opportunities with community or industry partners. Funding can be used to support travel to facilities and developing early partnership grants, funding must be used to support the development of a $20,000+ grant with a tri-agency or other granting program. First time partnerships only.
What Projects are Eligible?

Projects that support early-stage partnership development, including small-scale proof-of-concept or testing activities to demonstrate project viability and alignment between partners, as well as travel, meetings, and engagement activities that strengthen partnerships and support the development of larger grant submissions.

Who Can Apply?

Full-time University of Windsor faculty members and librarians with a research mandate.

Applicants must not hold other funding for development of the same research project.

Data Management Plan (where applicable): Applicants proposing research that involves the collection, creation, or management of research data must submit a Data Management Plan (DMP) as part of their application. Applicants may use the University of Windsor Data Management Plan Template available through Leddy Library. Additional information and resources are available through Leddy Library's Research Data Management website.

All grant holders must submit a final report, detailing the impact the award had on their work, within one month of the award end date.  Grant holders who fail to submit a report will be ineligible for future internal grants until the final report is submitted.
