About This Role
Responsible for the coordination and issuance of grant-funded appointments for research personnel on campus, including domestic and foreign national letters of appointment. Registered with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as a delegate to access the IRCC Employer Portal to submit and pay for Offers of Employment to foreign research personnel on behalf of the University of Windsor.
What I Do on the Team
- Provide foreign research personnel and faculty supervisors with relevant IRCC Offers of Employment codes required to file for a Work Permit.
- Serve as a resource to the campus community for the research appointments process by reviewing research appointment packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and guidelines.
