Abstract:
Microsoft Power BI is a data visualization platform used primarily for business intelligence purposes. Power BI stands for Power Business Intelligence and refers to a set of software tools and connectors that help you transform data from multiple sources into actionable insights. Power BI lets you easily connect to your data sources, visualize and discover what's important, and share that with anyone or everyone you want. Microsoft Power BI is used to find insights within an organization's data. Microsoft Power BI is a data visualization and reporting platform that is used by businesses and professionals every day. While the platform is commonly used by business analysts, it is also designed to be easily accessible for those without any specialized data knowledge.
Workshop Outline:
Attendees will be shown how to make a Power BI Report to show the information they want.
Attendees have an option to follow along. Relationships, DAX and Tables, Matrices and some other visualizations will be covered.
Prerequisites for attendees:

Attendees using Linux can load windows in virtual box and can download Power BI.
Attendees using MAC can sit and enjoy while they wonder upon their decision of buying an Apple product.

Biography:
Tanmay has a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Engineering from Charotar University (Anand, India) and is currently in the 2nd Semester of the MAC program. He has worked as a Data Analyst Intern where he predominantly used Python, Power BI and SQL. Tanmay has dabbled in various interests, namely Cyber Security, Game Development, Machine Learning, Web Development (Django, MERN), Application Development (Flutter), etc. Tanmay is very excited to show his peers about Power BI Desktop and how one can visualize data to gain insights.
