Reporting a Vehicle Defect

A vehicle believed to be unsafe must be removed from service immediately.

Report the defect to Fleet at ext. 3297. The vehicle is not to be operated until it has been inspected.

Defects that do not present a safety concern — a warning indicator, an unusual noise, or damage arising from normal use — should be reported the same day so that repair can be scheduled rather than resulting in a breakdown.
