Maintenance Services employs in-house trades responsible for the operation and repair of campus buildings and their systems. Work is requested through Azzier and dispatched from the Maintenance Building.

Fire Alarm Testing
Fire alarm tests are conducted by a team of maintenance tradespersons comprising electricians qualified as Fire Alarm Technicians, and plumbers where sprinkler and standpipe systems are installed. Annual test schedules are published on the Fire Alarm Information page.
Outside Contractors
Outside service providers are brought in for anything beyond the scope of our in-house staff.
Who Pays
Routine repair and maintenance of existing structures is funded through Maintenance Services at no cost to your department.
Requests to change, alter or renovate a space are the responsibility of the requisitioning department, which covers all associated costs.
If you are unsure which category your request falls into, contact us before submitting it — it is easier to sort out beforehand than after the work is scheduled.
