Congratulations on your employment with the University of Windsor! We are excited to have you as part of our campus team focused on enabling people to make a better world through education, scholarship, research, and engagement.
With the launch of UWinsite People, the University's Human Resources and Payroll System implemented in early January 2025, new hire processes have been updated.
If this is your first employment contract with the University of Windsor, or if it has been more than one year since your last employment contract, all required documents must be submitted through UWinsite People and will be a part of your preboarding and onboarding journey tasks.
Students are not permitted to begin their work duties until all hiring documents and information have been submitted in UWinsite People and reviewed by Human Resources to confirm that University hiring requirements have been met.
For International Students: In accordance with the IRCC regulations, you must be in Canada with a valid study permit, a valid social insurance number (SIN), with an open Canadian bank account and registered in full-time studies to accept employment on campus. If you have worked for the University of Windsor within the last year, please ensure that your legal documentation is still valid and up to date within your “Identification Info” section in UWinsite People.
If not, please submit a copy of your renewed study permit documentation into “Document Records” and “Identification Info” sections of UWinsite People.
