Faculty and Certain Employees Plan Retirement Committee

The Retirement Committee (D2)

Subject to the approval of the Board of Governors of the University, the Retirement Committee shall determine all questions arising in the administration of the Plan. The Retirement Committee (also referred to as the D2 committee, as per article D.2 of the faculty collective agreement) is comprised of the Vice-President, Finance & Operations, as the Chairperson, two members appointed by the Board of Governors and two members appointed by the Faculty Association.  Appointments to the Retirement Committee shall be for a term of two years.


Committee Members

The Retirement Committee of the University of Windsor Retirement Plan for Faculty and Certain Employees is comprised of five members:

  • Ms. Gillian Heisz, Vice-President, Finance & Operations (Chair)
  • TBD, Human Resources (2021-2022)
  • Dr. Bill Van Heyst, Dean, Faculty of Engineering (Provost delegate) (2021 -2022)
  • Dr. Ram Balachandar, Faculty Association appointment (2021-2022)
  • Dr. Lydia Miljan, Faculty Association appointment (2021-2022)
