New Employee Orientation

Thank you for selecting the University of Windsor as your employer of choice.

This orientation website has been designed to assist you in the transition to our organization. It provides an overview of the University, the many services available to employees and connects you to the mandatory training online modules.
 
Please consult your supervisor for departmental/role specific orientation and training requirements.

New Employee Orientation – Requirements

As outlined in your Letter of Appointment, you will need to do the following within the first 2 weeks of employment:

1. Orientation to the University of Windsor

Become familiar with the information listed in each of the links below:

2. Mandatory Training

Complete all the mandatory training modules listed on the “Mandatory Training Site” including but not limited to:
  • Accessible Customer Service
  • AODA and Human Rights
  • Health & Safety in the Workplace Orientation
  • WHMIS
Please note that you will need a UWin ID and password to access the site.

3. Complete the Equity Survey

The Employment Equity Survey will be used for the purpose of developing and delivering initiatives to promote fairness and equity at the University of Windsor. Responding to the survey's self-identification questions is voluntary; however, each employee must submit the survey whether or not the questions are answered.

4. Complete the "Welcome to UWindsor Employee Orientation Checklist"

This checklist is a record of the New Employee Orientation components completed.
