Important Notices for Plan Members

As required under legislation, the notice below has been sent to all members of the University of Windsor Retirement Plan for Faculty and Certain Employees. This includes all active and retired members, as well as deferred members who retain a pension entitlement within the Plan.

Notice of Pending Plan Amendment

As negotiated during the recent collective bargaining process, and ratified by both the Windsor University Faculty Association members and the University's Board of Governors as of November 2, 2011, member contributions to his/her Money Purchase Component Account will increase on January 1, 2012.

Notification was sent to all active members of the Retirement Plan for Faculty and Certain Employees on November 15, 2011. Certification of the Plan Amendment and the associated government filing forms will be filed with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) prior to January 1, 2012.
