Bio:

The primary objective of Dr. Perrotta’s research program concentrates on sport science & sport medicine and its direct application to enhancing health and sport performance. A significant focus is placed on examining the dose-response to exercise. Specifically, quantifying an exercise stimulus using wearable technology to examine the response in cardiovascular and musculoskeletal function, as well as athletic performance. Dr. Perrotta is a clinical exercise physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and a certified strength conditioning specialist (NSCA-CSCS) and holds a National ‘C’ Coaching license (USSF). He has held sport science positions for both Canadian National Sporting Organizations and varsity athletic programs. Dr. Perrotta is the Head of Sport Science for the Lancers Men’s Soccer program.
