About the Breastfeeding Room

The Office of Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility (OHREA) offers the university community a well-lit, quiet, and private space to breastfeed, bottle-feed, or express milk.

The Breastfeeding Room is located at 401 Sunset Avenue, Chrysler Hall Tower, 3rd Floor, Room 320.

What Does the Breastfeeding Room Have?

The Breastfeeding Room is equipped with the following items:

  • Refrigerator
  • Electric Kettle
  • Microwave
  • Comfortable Seating (chairs and couch)
  • Diaper Changing Table with Disposable Pads
  • Privacy Screen
  • Air Conditioning/Heating

A printable brochure about the Breastfeeding Room is available, as well as, physical copies for pick-up within the OHREA office. 

How to Access the Breastfeeding Room

Please note: The room is kept locked at all times. Access forms for an electronic key card (prox/FOB) may be obtained through the University's Key Control System. Applicants will require a UWindsor ID to login.

On a temporary basis, the room may also be accessed between 8:30 am-4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) through OHREA main reception located at 401 Sunset Avenue, Chrysler Hall Tower, 3rd Floor, Room 325 or by calling 519-253-3000 x3400.
