Head Start Orientation

Head Start is an orientation session for new part-time and mature undergraduate students at UWindsor. This event helps students get familiar with campus support, learn about OPUS services, and find ways to get involved. New students may also be eligible for an $1,000 OPUS-sponsored bursary in their first semester.

Fall 2026 Appreciation Week
7 - 11 September 2026
OPUS Appreciation Week is an annual event that celebrates and recognizes part-time and mature undergraduate students at UWindsor. It is an opportunity for students to connect with OPUS, learn about available support, and feel welcomed as part of the campus community. Students can also receive a gift package while supplies last, and new students can enter for a chance to win a tuition bursary.

OPUS 24th Annual Welcome BBQ

OPUS Welcome BBQ is an annual event that welcomes students back to campus and brings the UWindsor community together. The event gives part-time and mature students a chance to connect with OPUS, enjoy a free meal, learn about campus services, visit vendor booths, and take part in bursary and door prize opportunities.

OPUS Fall Social 2026

OPUS Socials gives UWindsor students a chance to connect, ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about campus life and OPUS services. These events are open to all current UWindsor students and often include food, refreshments, prizes, and opportunities to support charitable initiatives on campus and in the local community.
