Care Package

In Advance of the New Semester, Political Science students have prepared a Care Package to assist new Students.

We would also like to share with you  our 24/7 professional counselling resources for students:  

Good2Talk provides free, 24/7 single-session professional counselling and referral by phone to post-secondary students in Ontario.  Services are provided in English and French, with translation services available in 100+ languages.

Wellness Together Canada provides free, 24/7 professional mental health and substance use counselling by phone to anyone in Canada and Canadians abroad. Service is provided in English and French, with translation services available by request.

We also want to highlight for you our newly developed support website, containing information about help-seeking and resources, as well as tips for self-advocacy to ensure needs are met when someone does reach out. You can view that website here: uwindsor.ca/wellness/support 

Campus-Based Professional Counselling  

UWindsor students can also be referred to the Student Counselling Centre for appointment-based professional counselling provided Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. We offer single session appointments, short-term therapy, and group therapy. Students can schedule an intake appointment by emailing scc@uwindsor.ca or calling 519-253-3000 ext. 4616. We are located on the second floor of the Student Centre, room 293.
