Nusrat is a Ph.D. candidate in the Industrial and Manufacturing System Engineering (IMSE) Department of the University of Windsor. Her research interests cover advanced machining and manufacturing process planning. She completed her Bachelors in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2008.
In the same year, she joined there as a lecturer in Industrial and Production Engineering department. She completed her Masters from BUET in March 2011 and became an assistant professor in September 2011.
She started her Ph.D. program in IMSE in fall 2013.
